We counted how many male and females walked up and down the stairs in 25 minutes and also wrote down there hair colour and length and ethnicity.
Then using the information I made a variety of graphs for each category.
I tried out a few different formats to show my data and I decided to do individual graphs for each category because it would be very complicated and cluttered if I put it all on one. After experimenting I found I liked the pie charts best because they are the most simple and clear and I think they look most effective when put inside the shapes because it illustrates what they are about before you read the key so they are visually showing the information. I also used colours to show male or female and skin/hair colours to help visually show the information better. I did try using 3D on my first graph but I like the style of the 2D better because the colours stand out better and they are simple and easy to look at and understand.
